Practice Philosophy

We feel that a successful periodontal patient will be one who seeks to understand the causes of periodontal disease, develops goals for oral and systemic health and wellness, and participates as an active team member with our office and their referring dentist throughout treatment and maintenance. Because of this, your first visit in our office will be designed for us to develop a relationship, provide a comprehensive evaluation of your needs, and assist you with questions and concerns. Before any treatment is rendered, a separate consultation will occur in our office to review examination findings and treatment recommendations and to educate you and assist you in setting log-term goals for therapy. We feel that if we provide you with the adequate information, you will be educated, informed, and able to make sound decisions about your therapy. Continuous consultations with your referring dentist will occur throughout your care in our office. While the therapy appointments are important and necessary, the initial diagnostic and consultation appointments are the key elements to success in our endeavors. Entering into a treatment plan without a sound, accurate diagnosis and a well-planned path of therapy leads only to a diminished results. Our goal is to help you save and maintain your teeth and dental implants for a lifetime.
